      For example, some hotels have started offering carbon-offset packages where guests can contribute to projects that mitigate carbon emissions. It could be as simple as donating a small fee at check-in that goes toward local reforestation efforts or marine conservation programs. Ritz-Carlton could also allow guests to participate in hands-on conservation activities, like beach clean-ups or local wildlife protection initiatives, right in their destinations.

      Moreover, providing reusable amenities in rooms, such as refillable water bottles or eco-friendly toiletries, could not only reduce waste but also encourage guests to be mindful of their own consumption habits during their stay.
